How to Revive a Cell Phone Battery
This phonechris teaches you different ways to fix your phone's battery if it's no longer working at all. If you have a dead battery, you can remove it and try cleaning the battery compartment in your phone (and the battery itself) with a clean microfiber cloth. If that doesn't work, you can securely seal it with plastic wrap and put it in a freezer for a few days. As a last resort, you can use a 9V battery to jumpstart your broken phone battery.

Cleaning the Battery Compartment
- 1Remove the battery from your phone. You may have to open the back of the casing to remove the battery.
- If you're using an iPhone, make sure to check out this article to see how you can remove the battery.
- For some Samsung Galaxy models, you can find instructions here.
- For detailed Android battery and removal instructions, please refer to your manufacturer's website or manual.
- 2Wipe all the dust and dirt inside the battery compartment. This is the area from which you removed the battery. You'll want to use an unused clean microfiber cloth to do this. The cloth should be dry, as liquids can irreparably damage the phone.
- 3Wipe all the dirt from the battery itself. Again, do not use water in order to prevent damaging your battery.
- 4Insert the clean battery back into the phone.
- 5Turn on the phone. Wiping and cleaning the dirt may just help you revive your battery, and start using your phone again.
